Whether you’re interior is in serious disrepair or it’s just time for a change of scenery, home refurbishments can be messy business. While you might get carried away in the spirit of ‘Out with the old, in with the new’, the old needs to go somewhere. That’s where we come in.

For a Multiple room refurbishment we would recommend an

8 Yard Skip

It goes without saying that there are a lot of variables when it comes to home refurbishment, not least how big your house is and how much of it you’re planning to redo. Assuming most of the changes you’re planning to make are internal, you shouldn’t end up with vast amounts of waste to dispose of. Also, a lot of what you’ll be throwing away will be recyclable so you’ll be helping us do our bit for the environment (please see our recycling page for more information on what can and can’t be recycled).

For a standard house refurbishment we would recommend an 8-yard skip. It’s big enough to take plenty of waste but not so big that you find yourself scratching your head, wondering what else you can get rid of to fill the thing up! Remember, any plasterboard will need to be put in a separate bag and placed on top of your skip when it’s collected.

And remember, if it’s all sounding a little out of your comfort zones, our friendly staff are only a phone call away to give you any advice or guidance you might need. Or, if you need a more practical helping hand, you can book our assisted waste removal for help on-site.
